What ages do you teach?

I welcome students of various ages and experience levels. Adults, kids, and everyone in between is welcome! It's never too late to start learning. 

Do I need previous music experience?

No! Beginngers are welcome, as well as intermediate and advanced students. 

Do I need access to a piano if I'm going to take piano lessons? 

Yes, students taking piano lessons will need regular access to a piano or keyboard in order to practice. 

What materials will students need? 

Students will be expected to purchase books and sheet music. A pencil and any materials provided at previous lessons should be brought to every lesson.

When is tuition due? 

Tuition is due at the first of every month.

How do I pay?

Payments can be made through my billing system (credit card, Apple Pay, or EFT). Cash is also accepted. 

Why music theory training? 

Music theory helps students become stronger performers, more confident readers, and more independent musicians. It provides the tools to understand the music they play and sing, making practice and performance more meaningful.  This tutoring will also give students wanting to pursue music as a career a headstart for future academics.
